KHR-A Heat treatment Quenching Medium Cooling Performance of Portable detector quenchometer


The detector is used to test the effect and quality of quenching liquid and oil in heat treatment industry. Sometimes, when we are not ensure the quality and effect about the quenching oil and liquid we purchased from supplier; or the efficiency of the quenching water (PAG) or oil may recede. In cases, the detector may help us to foresee the adverse situation, and avoiding loss happens in quenching process.


How to use


  • The detector comply with the standard of ISO9950:1995
  • It uses thermocouple and nickel alloy probe to test the quenching liquid and oil
  • The testing result can be judged via the cooling curve
  • After heating the probe to 850 centigrade degree (normally), insert probe into the quenching liquid or oil, the machine may record the deference of the data as the temperature of probe and time changes. Finally, the printer on the machine may provide the data and curve, and it may help us to research the data.
